This is the flatline burger. Its a double bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter and has been deep fired.

Emulation

So, Ron suggested that I should start to emulate other food photography.
This week I made an apple pie.

This is a professional shot of the pie from the Betty Crocker website.
















This is a shot from my room mates cell phone.
Not quite the exact same, but I took it over to the studio with some vanilla ice cream and made it look good.
And, yes, the ice cream did melt under the studio lights.















It looked kinda like this.
But not chocolate.
And no face.

So..

I've been thinking alot about how Ron wants us to pick out our ten favorite things and see which ones can be photographed.
So here's what I've got so far (they're in no particular order)-

10. People
I think people are fascinating. Their styles, their trends, their attitudes, their shapes. I just find it all very interesting.

9. Cooking/Baking

This is my second favorite thing to do besides photograph. I absolutely love baking. This photograph is by jim scherer.










8. Music



This is the lead singer of my favorite band, Hayley Williams of Paramore. Music is one of my top ten because I feel like the world would not be able to function without it. I know I wouldnt. Andrew Kendall took this photograph.






7. Family
This is me with my brothers. My brothers, my sister, my parents, my niece- they all helped me become the person I am today, corny I know, but its true. I took this picture.









6. Movies

I've worked at a movie theatre for about 2 and a half years now, so im pretty into movies. Im not super picky about the genre of the movie. I like most genres. Anchorman is probably one of my favorite movies. Its so hilarious. It kinda leads into my next top ten favorite.




























5. Silly Things


I typed "silly" into google images and this was one of the first things to show up. No picture comes to mind at the moment that portrays silly things.












4. Hats


These hats are so much fun. I dont really know what else to say about them.

Whats there not to like about yoohoo? This should be on everyone's top ten.

























2. Pasta

Im pretty sure I could live off of pasta. Its so great. And there's so many different recipes for pasta. This is making me want pasta. And yoohoo.
